From the wormhole-hopping Ghosts of Creuss to the trade-mastering Emirates of Hacan, every faction offers a distinct play experience with multiple paths to victory. Your ultimate goal is to claim the throne of Mecatol Rex and secure ten victory points.

Distinctive Play and Strategy

No two games are identical. Every match begins with players strategically constructing a unique game board using 51 modular galaxy tiles, featuring planets, supernovas, asteroid fields, and gravity rifts. Each round starts with players drafting one of eight strategy cards, which determines both turn order and grants a powerful unique action, such as controlling trade or gaining extra command tokens. Players then take turns moving massive fleets, claiming planets, and engaging in tactical warfare.

At the end of each round, players gather in a grand council to vote on new laws and agendas that can unpredictably alter the galactic landscape. Victory points are scored by fulfilling a combination of shared public objectives and secret, player-specific objectives, ranging from researching advanced technologies to seizing your neighbour's home system.
