About the Game

A typical game of the One Piece Card Game is a fast, back-and-forth duel: two players build decks around a chosen Leader, deploy Characters from the world of One Piece, and trade attacks until one crew breaks through the other's life cards. Games suit two players, run roughly 20–40 minutes, sit at a medium complexity, and are recommended for ages 6 and up, with deck construction and hand management driving every turn.

Released by Bandai, the game adapts Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga and anime into a competitive trading card game with regular booster releases. OP-13 is the thirteenth main booster set, adding a fresh pool of Leaders, Characters and Events that remain compatible with earlier releases rather than replacing them. This listing is for a sealed case containing 12 booster boxes of OP-13, ideal for collectors, drafters and players chasing the set's rarest pulls.

History

The One Piece Card Game is Bandai's trading card game adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga and anime, built around Leader-led decks and a steady schedule of numbered booster releases. OP-13 continues that line as the thirteenth main booster set, expanding the shared card pool rather than replacing earlier sets.

Rules of op 13 x12

  • Note: this listing is a sealed case of OP-13 booster boxes for collecting and deck building – no ready-to-play deck is included, so each player needs a Leader plus a 50-card deck (starter decks are the easiest entry point).
  • Setup: place your Leader face up, shuffle your deck, set the top five cards face down as your life cards, draw a five-card hand (one mulligan allowed), and keep your 10 DON!! cards to the side.
  • Turn flow: refresh your rested cards, draw one card, then add two DON!! cards to your cost area (the first player adds only one on their opening turn).
  • In the main phase, pay DON!! costs to play Characters and Events, use Leader and Character abilities, and attack with your Leader and Characters.
  • Attach DON!! cards to a Leader or Character to give it +1000 power for that turn.
  • Attacks target the opposing Leader or a rested Character; the defender can play Counter cards from hand or intercept with Blocker characters.
  • A successful hit on the Leader sends one life card into the opponent's hand, resolving any Trigger effect on it.
  • Game end: win by landing a hit when your opponent has no life cards left, or when they must draw from an empty deck. Games typically run 20–40 minutes.

Strategy

  • Learn the flow with a starter deck before building around Leaders you pull from OP-13 boosters.
  • Spend DON!! thoughtfully: boosting an attacker's power is strong, but it leaves fewer DON!! for playing cards that turn.
  • Avoid emptying your hand – holding a card or two for Counter plays can save your Leader at a key moment.
  • Attack rested Characters when you can clear threats efficiently, then shift pressure to the Leader once their life cards run low.
  • Sometimes it is fine to let a hit through: life cards with Trigger effects can swing momentum back your way.
  • Hold Blocker characters back for the late game to shield your Leader when your life total drops.
  • Build decks with a smooth cost curve and multiple copies of key cards so your early turns stay consistent.
