Easy fun
Fun game, bought it after playing it at my sister’s place. My 10 year old grandsons had the gist of this quickly and I was told, “it’s okay Nan we know what to do you don’t have to say anything“ 😂
Rules of Jaipur
- Setup: Place three camel cards face up between the players, shuffle the deck, deal five cards to each player, then top the market up to five cards. Sort the goods tokens by type and set the bonus tokens aside.
- On your turn, either take cards or sell cards — never both.
- Taking: take one goods card from the market into your hand, take all the camels into your herd, or swap two or more cards from your hand and/or herd for an equal number of goods from the market.
- Selling: discard any number of matching goods to take that many tokens from the top of the stack — earlier tokens are worth more, and selling three, four or five at once earns a bonus token.
- Your hand is limited to seven cards at the end of your turn; camels in your herd don't count towards this limit but can never be sold.
- Round end: a round finishes when three goods token stacks are empty or the deck runs out. The richer trader wins the round and takes a seal of excellence; the player holding the most camels earns a small bonus.
- Winning the game: reset and play further rounds until one trader has earned two seals of excellence.
