Here to Slay is a competitive fantasy strategy card game for 2–6 players, taking 30–60 minutes to play. Designed for ages 10 and up, it features engaging mechanics like Dice Rolling, Hand Management, and Take That. As leaders of cute but lethal adventurer parties, players race to either slay three monsters or assemble a party of six different character classes to claim victory, all while sabotaging their rivals.

How to Play

In Here to Slay, players begin by choosing a unique Party Leader card that defines their play style and provides a permanent, powerful passive skill. Throughout the game, players spend action points to draw cards, play Heroes, equip useful items, cast magic spells, or initiate combat against fearsome bosses. Each Hero card belongs to a specific class (such as Fighter, Bard, Wizard, or Thief) and has a unique effect that is activated by rolling two dice and meeting a specific target number.

Dice-Rolling Combat and Rivalry

To win, players must either successfully slay three monsters or assemble a full party consisting of six distinct classes. Attacking monsters requires rolling dice to meet their difficulty threshold, but players must beware: rolling too low can trigger a dangerous retaliation. Additionally, players can actively sabotage one another using roll modifiers and instant Challenge cards, initiating tense one-on-one dice-rolling duels to cancel an opponent's turn entirely.

Developed by TeeTurtle, the creators of the hit card game Unstable Unicorns, Here to Slay was launched via a highly successful crowdfunding campaign. It combines adorable fantasy art with cutthroat, fast-paced gameplay, expanding the studio's reputation for accessible, highly interactive card games.
