Rules of Folded Space Game Inserts - Legendary A Marvel Deck Building Game

  • Setup: Choose a Mastermind and a Scheme, then build the Villain Deck (villain groups, henchmen, bystanders, Scheme Twists and Master Strikes) and the Hero Deck to suit your player count. The insert's trays keep every deck sorted and within easy reach.
  • Each player begins with a basic deck of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and Troopers and draws a hand of six cards.
  • Villain phase: At the start of each turn reveal the top card of the Villain Deck — new villains enter the city, Twists advance the Scheme, and Strikes trigger the Mastermind's attack.
  • Player phase: Play cards from your hand, spending Recruit points to buy heroes from the HQ and Attack points to fight villains in the city or the Mastermind.
  • Defeated villains and rescued bystanders go into your personal Victory Pile; discard everything left over and draw a fresh hand of six.
  • Objective: Work together to defeat the Mastermind's four Tactics before the Villain Deck runs out or the Scheme completes its Evil Wins condition.
  • Game end: If the heroes win, each player tallies the victory points in their Victory Pile and the highest total claims the individual win.

Strategy

  • Buy with focus: Recruit heroes that share teams or classes with the cards you already have, so their bonus abilities trigger often instead of spreading across one of everything.
  • Lean on Recruit points early to grow your deck's buying power, then pivot toward Attack as villains stack up in the city.
  • Thin your deck: Use any KO effects you recruit to clear out weak starting Agents and Troopers, so your best heroes come around more often.
  • Fight villains before they escape the city — escapes and Ambush effects often cost bystanders, cards or Scheme progress.
  • Coordinate openly with the table: agree who handles which threat, and skip fights you can't finish so Attack points aren't wasted.
  • Track the clock by watching the remaining Villain Deck and Scheme Twists, and start pressuring the Mastermind before time runs short.
  • Victory points only count if the heroes win, so chase personal score without letting the group fall behind on threats.

This is NOT the game. It is an organizer tray for the game. Ironically, the game already comes w/ an organizer and this is not necessary. This is a fraudulent posting and should be removed by Amazon.
